Bid Results : NTPC 500 MW A.P. Tender

NTPC seems to have grabbed he best DIWALI OFFER not from any E-commerce Website but from one of the  largest Renewable energy project developer SUN EDISON .

Final Bidding Results from first of it’s kind Reverse Auction which started at 2:30 PM on 3rd Nov and lasted for almost 12 hours resulted in SUN EDISON grabbing entire 500 MW ( 350 in Open Category and 150 in DCR )  at Tariff of INR 4.63 /KWh ( Fixed for 25 years ) . Some of the tariff quoted by other players were :

• Rattan Power India  ( Formerly India bulls Power ) :  INR 4.63-4 Kwh ,
• Solar Arise: INR 4.77 /Kwh
• Softbank Energy ( JV of Soft Bank  , Japan & Bharti group ) : INR 4.79 /Kwh
• Reliance Energy : INR 4.79 / Kwh
• Renew Power : 4.85/kWh ,
• Acme  : 4.89/kWh

Before this , 30 Bidder have submitted their financial bid and 28 of them allowed to be part of  reverse Bidding ( Suzlon & CESC were dropped ) .
